Our customer (charterer) defines their desired itinerary and discusses details with the selected captain prior to the charter. Your captain will offer useful insights and suggestions whether you're new to Lake of the Ozarks or a repeat visitor. We are one of the only charter companies at Lake of the Ozarks that offers male AND FEMALE boat captains. Lake of the Ozarks Charter Options:
2, 4, 6, or 8 hour boat charters available
2 hour charter (usually a sunset cruise) $350.00 (fuel included)*
4 hour charter $650.00 (plus fuel utilized)
6 hour charter $800.00 (plus fuel utilized)
8 hour charter $950.00 (plus fuel utilized)
*Added fuel charge if your pickup point is greater than 5 miles from our dock
Additional hours: add $125 per hour
Floating Lilly Pad (for swimming, laying out) available upon request
48 or 64 quart ice chests are available upon request
Most of our 8 hour Lake of the Ozarks boat charter customers arrange pickup around10-11am as this allows ample time for swimming, coving out, visiting lake bars, restaurants, sight seeing, etc. For passenger safety reasons, we do not operate our vessels on Lake of the Ozarks at night so please plan your itinerary accordingly. Lake of the Ozarks has very high boat traffic in the summer months and we return customers to their pickup point before dark. In the summer months this usually means customer drop off no later than 7pm as the captain has to re-fuel the boat, return the boat to our dock, clean the boat, etc. at the conclusion of each charter.

Each boat is equipped with a state of the art blue tooth stereo system and several nice amenities. There are life vests and other flotation devices on the vessel for all passengers and we recommend that you use them for your safety.
The Captain will pick you up on Lake of the Ozarks at your condo, home, Air B&B, or VRBO location boat dock if located between Bagnell Dam and mile marker 20 of the Osage arm and up to mile marker 8 of the Gravois arm. (Pick up location for 2 hour charters must be within 5 miles of our dock address) Customer pick-ups outside of the aforementioned area may be feasible but will require discussion and potentially an additional charge. As noted above, customer pays for fuel utilized on all boat cruise charters except 2 hour charters.
Passengers age 21 or older may bring alcoholic beverages (beer, seltzer drinks) onboard however for safety reasons we do not allow hard liquor or glass containers, and ask all passengers to drink responsibly. If passengers become unruly, aggressive, or at the Captain's sole discretion are a safety risk to themselves or others, Captain may terminate the charter or remove a passenger(s) from the vessel. Missouri State Water Patrol or Coast Guard officers may also be summoned by the captain at any time warranted. No illegal drugs or paraphenalia of any type are allowed on the vessel at any time. Electronic vapes may be utilized however cigarettes, cigars, or pipes or any smoking device using fire cannot be utilized on the vessel. Customers are financially responsible for any and all damage caused to the vessel and the charterer agrees to pay for any damage caused by himself/herself or any member of their group. Pre and post charter pictures of the vessel will be taken to document any pre-existing or damage caused during the charter. Please read the terms and conditions tab of our website and your charter agreement as they are both applicable. The charterer must present their ID at the beginning of the charter and sign charter, captain service, and liability release agreements. All passengers must sign a liability release. Though the captain will conduct a safety orientation and discuss do's and dont's at the beginning of the charter, the charterer (person securing the charter) should also inform his/her guests of charter rules prior to the charter as the charterer assumes liability for boat damages, passenger actions, injuries, etc. The contract signed by the charterer prior to the charter covers a lot of information relevant to passenger safety and charter details. The captain will contact the charterer prior to the charter date to discuss the itinerary and any other details. We want customers to have a safe and memorable time on the water and proper preparation, planning, and communication makes a big difference.
Cancellation and deposit policy: A deposit of $100 is required to reserve your charter and credit card information must be provided. We will not charge your card if you show up for your charter as scheduled or if you cancel more than 14 days before your charter. Your credit card shall be charged if you cancel within 14 days of your charter. If your charter is cancelled by Barber Guide Service or the Captain due to dangerous weather (lightning, storms, etc.) or other reasons beyond our control, your credit card will not be charged. If your charter hours are cut short due to dangerous weather, charter cost may be pro-rated and shall be discussed with the charterer. By providing your credit card information to our company you agree to the terms of our cancellation policy.
