We chose Barber fishing Guide Service for our friends trips to Lake of the Ozarks because we needed to accommodate 6 people. We had 3 adults and 3 boys - 13,11,and 9 yrs old. Captain Chris and Addie were great working with the boys. I am so happy we found them! Captain Chris was very knowledgeable about the lake and had lots of tips and tricks for fishing. Addie was very patient and kind to the boys. It was a great experience and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Captain Chris was great! He is very patient with an unexperienced fisher, he took the time to explain things in detail and made fishing a great experience. My husband and I had such a wonderful experience fishing with Captain Chris!! We were jug fishing for blue cat (which is something we've never done before) and it was so much fun! We caught some whoppers and overall just had a great time. Captain Chris is a knowledgeable, professional, and friendly guide who went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable experience. Best fishing guide a family could ask for! Had four great hours on the lake and caught some good fish. Kids were extremely happy. Recommend the morning session since it can get hot on the lake. Shared some of the best beef jerky on earth as well! Cleaning the fish was an added plus and wish I had a smoker back at the hotel!

Captain Chris was very knowledgeable and a great guide. He took us to a great spot and we caught more fish then we could count. Whether you are new to fishing or have some experience he will teach you everything you need to know. He will give you some great advice on good locations and how to catch different species of fish. Don't waste your time with other guides and give him a call I would strongly recommend him. Thanks Captain Chris!

We had Captain Chris and Captain Rachel for our crappie trip. Their equipment was clean and in good shape. They were knowledgeable of the lake and got us on the fish.  It was a fun and relaxing atmosphere on the boat.  I would definitely use them again.

Best day ever & by far was the highlight of our Ozark trip.  Captain Chris was the ultimate tour guide. He’s very knowledgeable about the lake & the area, very patient with seasoned & novice fishing people.  If you’re looking for a fishing Charter and/or just wanting to party, their team makes it easy to book & their follow up was top notch. Captain Chris was knowledgeable, efficient, and got us on the fish as soon as the hooks dropped. I had my 6 year old with me and he couldn’t have been more engaging and attentive with him. He made it a memorable experience for our entire group. He is definitely worth checking out.

Can’t say enough good things about our family’s experience with Captain Chris’ fishing charter. We had 3 young kids with us and he kept them entertained and they had a blast! I enjoyed kayaking on Lake of the Ozarks while my husband fished with Barber Fishing Guide Services. Chris made sure I had everything I needed to enjoy the morning while they were out fishing. The kayak was very stable and comfortable. My husband and I both had a blast. We will definitely be back!
